Biography

Dr. Lookman Odejobi is a board certified internal medicine physician. Dr. Odejobi earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree at the University of Ilorin in Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria. He followed with his post-graduate fellowship education in Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Odejobi came to the United States in 1990 to complete his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he served as chief resident in his final year of the program. Dr. Odejobi is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the West African College of Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

Dr. Odejobi established a private practice in 2000. He is actively involved in teaching, currently serving as a preceptor for nurse practitioner programs at Monmouth University, The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University. He also held an appointment as clinical assistant professor of medicine at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia for several years. Dr. Odejobi participated in a medical mission to Nigeria in 2014. Dr. Odejobi participates in medical missions to Nigeria bi-annually. He enjoys volunteering and fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Dr. Odejobi also enjoys jogging, running and reading.
