Jeffrey Dynof has worked in the behavioral health field for over 4 years. Prior to joining Riverside, Dr. Dynof worked at an inpatient acute care facility. He completed a nurse practitioner residency in community care through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and has experience in treating patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults) throughout multiple levels of care, such as outpatient, community mental health centers, partial care, and long-term care. He also has training and experience in conducting individual and family evidenced-based psychotherapy; in quality and performance improvement; in reviewing and implementing evidenced-based clinical projects; and in research initiatives to continually improve his practice.
Jeffrey’s care philosophy is one of individualized, person-centered care and goal-oriented treatment. He believes in utilizing shared-decision making along with evidenced-based practice to meet the most optimal outcomes for his patients. He believes that uniquely-tailored treatment plans and integrated care are key components of a patients’ progress in treatment. Some of his treatment interests include anxiety and mood disorders, sleep disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, impairments in attention/focus, and integrated care. He believes that physical and mental health are interconnected in one’s overall well-being and that care coordination and integration is an important part of treatment and wellness.
