Dr. Howard Guss is a board certified specialist in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, and has been caring for patients for over 20 years. Dr. Guss received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree after obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree. During his education, Dr. Guss was selected for the 7-year accelerated program at the New York Institute of Technology and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating osteopathic internship at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, an internal medicine residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Guss is a member of several professional member organizations including, the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons to name a few. Dr. Guss is also a member of the Nu Upsilon Tau Honor Society for the New York Institute of Technology. He has also participated in pharmaceutical research. Dr. Guss is an avid Yankees fan and enjoys tennis, skiing and spending time with his wife, daughter and son.
