Subacute Rehab

SubAcute Rehab Care

If you have experienced a traumatic injury, debilitating disease or received a certain type of surgery you may be admitted for sub acute rehabilitation. Subacute care is provided on an inpatient basis for those individuals needing services that are more intensive than those typically received in skilled nursing facilities but less intensive than acute care.

This type of care is most appropriate for individuals who will benefit from intensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Rehabilitation can include occupational, physical and speech therapy. All care is managed by specially trained physicians who are aware of all aspects of each patient’s care. Rehabilitation will generally include one to two hours of therapy a day. The Riverside Medical Group is affiliated with the Alaris Health and Care One acute rehab which have multiple rehabilitation locations in New Jersey.
