With regard to patient care, his philosophy is “The best treatment is prevention; proper communication and collaboration between the physician and the parents make for the best care for the child.” Dr. Baker believes that “all decisions regarding patient care are made with the parents - not for the parents”, as he states, “my primary function as a pediatrician is to educate and empower my patients’ parents in order to provide the best total care – emotional, intellectual and physical – for my patients.” Dr. Baker is married to Miriam Baker, Riverside’s Patient Care Coordinator and Executive Practice Administrator. They live in Bergen county with their son.
