Our Jersey City Practice’s Approach

At Jersey City, we believe that prevention before cure and early detection are crucial to helping patients with their heart health. We’ve helped thousands of people and want to help even more.

Your heart doctor will create a custom cardiology health plan including a screening schedule along with any recommended treatment.

Our Jersey City office’s main philosophy is that exceptional care is only obtained through an ongoing relationship between a heart doctor and their patient, and we want to be lifelong partners in your health by answering any questions and concerns you have and educating you in staying healthier for the better.

Non-Invasive Heart Testing & Treatment

Heart disease can be caused by excess blockage in the body that can lead to heart disease, thatnks to plaque built up within the tunnels leading to your heart. Our heart doctors will figure out what you are at risk for by running many different cardiac diagnostic tests. Treatment and accurate testing can prevent more serious heart issues, which is needed since heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S.

Stroke Screening
Strokes can lead to loss of speech, sight and movement, and occur when your brain’s blood flow is disrupted. We will help you ward off an impending stroke and determine if you’re at risk for one.

Doppler Tests
There are three Doppler tests used to examine the possibility of blockages in the body. The Carotid test examines the carotid artery, the Venuous Doppler examines your veins and the Arterial Doppler examines the arteries in your arms and legs.

EECP Therapy
If you have suffered from an angina, EECP therapy from a specialized heart physician can assist you through this outpatient program to relieve your symptoms.

High Blood Pressure (HBP) Screenings
HBP can be life-threatening when left untreated for too long and should be one of the most regular screenings to have in your adult life. Otherwise you may get heart failure, kidney failure and more.

EKG Test
You can use an EKG test to check if your heart muscle has any electrical problems inside.

Aneurysm Screening
AAA Screening refers to Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening. Aneurysms affect the aorta, within your abdomen. When it becomes enlarged there are generally no symptoms, though sometimes you may feel abdominal or back pain.
